Renowned dog trainer and behavior expert Sue Sternberg will be lecturing on how to recognize healthy dog play and how to differentiate between dogs having fun and dogs heading down a dangerous path of aggression. She will delve into techniques to keep dogs safe when playing, help dog owners identify the five most common behaviors seen when dogs are together off-leash, and how to recognize trouble before it turns into a vet visit. By viewing frame-by-frame videos, participants will learn to identify which behaviors are healthy and which ones are red flags.
A portion of the proceeds from this phenomenal event will go to Street Dawg Crew, a nonprofit organization providing assistance to the dogs of homeless and low-income individuals.
The lecture will take place in the Little Theatre of Murray High School. There will be directional signs in the building to help you find your way to the theatre.
Cost: $50 (pre-paid) or $60 (at door)
